You should already be used to that, coming from any Civic Devil

Hahahaha. This guy has a Z06 for 1 month and he thinks anything else is inferior. Sounds like a Porsche driver.

    Windscreen:

BTW - nice Avatar.  Is that the new Cup team for all the Jewish fans? Wink

Yes, Team Latke Matzo Racing. Car's come complete with a mezuzah bolted to the roll cage and a grumpy old man from Florida as the crew chief. I guarantee you that the team will save 20% on all of its operating costs. Sure, the cars will be transported via rail and the team may have to fly Southwest with 3 connections to get to the races, but hey, a been s-h-aved is a penny been earned.

"Oy vey, $400.00 for a tire! I'll see what Larry my mechanic in Queens can do."

"$2,000,000 for a Taurus! I paid $24.50/day when I visited my nephew in Scottsdale."

You won't have much to worry about Tim. Getting use to no power, RWD and no ABS is going to be rough for me. Plus, we may drive in Pro just for ease on the Borowski's (they will likely be driving Pro as well, that way we can run the same heat as them and they don't have to wait for us to get done).

The more the merrier.  You'll have fun trying something very different.  Going to ES was a decision I haven't regretted.

The weather site says 55° and no snow, and they are ALWAYS right.  LOL.

Joking aside, if there is a ton of snow on the lot then something might change... but if there is just flurries or something we can drive in that.  It's all about car control, however, there is a point were safety is a concern.  Think positive!!!!  Cool

OK OK...I was just joking about the whole weather thing. I'm finally running with a better set of summer tires and other mods so I'm just so freakin exicted to test them out.

If you've got the "bug"- they're running in Des Moines this weekend. Forecast of almost 60 degrees........ above 0!  (and it's not at the "concrete" lot either)

Well, TSSCC (sat) and CHI Region (sun) have events the weekend of April 12-13 at Route 66 in Joilet, IL, which is a little closer than Des Moines.

I think Jason was saying that if he can control the bug for just 2 more weeks, then he wouldn't have to drive as far to get his freak on.

We're closing in on a record 120 days straight with snow on the ground. Getting a little punchy over here.

Re: Instructors for '08 AutoX, Milwaukee Region

This is f'en gay! My car is still in the body shop, after that accident. Some guy at work backed up into me when I was parked. It took me a month to get the stupid shop to fax the other guy's insurance company the estimate of the cost. Then I had to wait 2 weeks for the shop to finish other ppl's car, only if they were more careful during the winter season!!! I finally got it a 1 1/2 week later and guess what! I miss her sooo much and when I got there, right away. I noticed that the liners/clip on the roof of the car weren't on. You can easily pull it off compared to the other side. The rear pass window seal/liner, it sticks out 2 inches!!...well not 2 inches but it's f'en noticable. I talked to the guy in charge and he BS me about that's all they can do and that's all the window company can do.

So they did do one hell of a job on the body work but everything else, they f'en suck at it! So I told the guy, I ain't paying them with the money the insurance company gave me to them until they fix it right! or how them other parts were like when I brought it in. I might have to wait another week! I won't have time to install the new parts due to school and work! Actually I might have to skip the first AutoX event. (*#&)$(!&$(#^(%^(%*^(#*@&!)@*@$&(

     okay...my ranting is done. T_T

Re: Instructors for '08 AutoX, Milwaukee Region

Sorry to hear about that.  I hope that you can get it all worked out so you can make it.  If not, you've got nearly a month between event #1 and event #2 to get it all straightened out.
