Our last event of the year will be on Dec 1 and 2 at Columbus Air Force Base. If you have any desire to come to the event, you absolutely must fill out a base access form and it must be received by NOON on Sunday, November 25. Email your completed form to msscca[at]gmail[dot]com.

If you fill out a base access form and don't show up, no problem. On the other hand, if you don't submit your form, you absolutely will not be allowed on base. So send yours in now, before you forget.

 were having our own two day event down here so you wouln't see us up there unforchantly. Ya'll starting working on the '08 schedule?

I'm sure Skip has some idea of what the '08 schedule will look like. It's a job for which I don't envy him.

He'll probably chime in soon... 

Believe it or not, I'm going to try to be there.  I need to finish putting the CRX back together and give it a shakedown.  I've replaced the coil, igniter, distributor cap, plugs, plug wires and fixed several loose connections and ground wires, so hopefully my electrical problems are fixed.  I've also replaced wheel bearings and wheel studs front and rear, new front hubs, front rotors and rebuilt the front calipers.  Work keeps getting in the way, so its taking longer than it should to finish.

Who should I send my base access form to?

 For that matter, can I carpool with anyone?

I'll post info on the site and in this thread when base access forms are being accepted. It'll be late this weekend (probably Sunday evening) all through next week.

 btw mark, a lot of us either live in Starkville or are directly connected to Starkville because of MSU...I personally live in Vicksburg, Ms now (which is down by Jackson) but I went to MSU so I lived in Starkville for a good while and a lot of guys still lives in that area if you need a ride or anything to Columbus...

2008 - The event dates at Grenada and CAFB should be about the same as this year - adjusted for other SCCA events such as Solo Tours, minor sporting events such as football at MSU and UM, major sporting events such as road races at Memphis - you get the idea.

So Ole Miss is still planning on fielding a team next year? Hardly seems worth the trouble. 

I'm accepting base access forms; details are below. I'll send a confirmation email when I process your form, but it might be more than the normal 24 hours. Send in your form NOW before you start traveling for Thanksgiving and forget to do it.

Well ya'll have fun up there. I will be on call yet again this go 'round. I have just now gotten healed up enough to where I feel I could at least come and do the SSS stuff but can't due to work. Watch out for that crazy guy that my company is sponsoring in the aqua marine pearl MKII MR2. I hear he is very competitive and all that jazz. lol

Ya'll take it easy up there and enjoy the holidays. Maybe I can catch ya'll sometime early next year.

Do not wait until the last minute to send your form. It's a long weekend for most folks, and it'll be very easy to forget to send your form if you don't do it ASAP. The deadline is noon on Sunday.
