    Hey everyone....This is the last installment in the 2007 MiDiv Solo Championship Series. It is being held in Walnut Ridge Arkansas, on Sept 1&2.

    I've noticed in the annual points standings, that there are several classes that can be decided at this event.

    If you've never been to any of the National Tours or ProSolos or last years' MiDiv event...you don't know what you're missing. Its truely a 1st class community that loves to support us by packing the bleachers. That's right, Solo is a spectator sport in Walnut Ridge. Come be a celebrity, if only for one weekend.

    There's more...The site is huge!! It makes the HPT Solo Pad and Lot L at Arrowhead, look small....Yeah...That Big!

    On a serious note: I'd like to make a request on behalf of the Arkansas region. Please sign up early! They'd love to have you...but you can make their job sooo much easier, if you sign up early. So check your calendars, and sign up soon. This week would be great! Everyone that works their butts off to put on these events...Thanks YOU!

    Another reason to plan early...is that Walnut Ridge/Pocahontas are very small communities, and there are only 2 hotels that are close to the site. So I'd recommend making those reservations early as well.

    Well, after 11 days of registration being open, for the Walnut Ridge Divisional, we had 24 people sign up.

    With the cost of the site and the banquet expenses, the Arkansas Region was a long way from financially being able to put on this event. So I'm sorry to say that this event had to be cancelled.

    This is the first MiDiv in my memory that has ever had to be cancelled. I know that there are reasons for the low turn out. We will try to take that into consideration for next year. Thanks again for your participation.
