Z0K is often spoken as Z-oh-K, but in written form, it is indeed Z-zero-K (just like the Corvette Z06 is Z-zero-6).

I'm posting this as a new post to make it easy to reference, but suggest keep the actual discussion in the Solstice GXP Club Sport now a reality thread.

I got this info from a Pontiac dealership which they receive via GM DealerWorld (I'm not sure why GM didn't list the shocks other than perhaps assuming everyone would replace them with aftermarket anyway):

Please reference the 2006 -07 service info. If the customer does not add a secondary spring seat, per service info 1824659, the customer is in the optional set-up.  The customer must add the secondary spring with the springs below to have the GM warranty apply.  The ZOK vehicle leaves the plant with 2 spring seats per each shock module.

Preliminary Procedure

Notice: Use care when handling the coil springs in order to avoid chipping or scratching the coating. Damage to the coating will result in premature failure of the coil springs.

Remove the shock module. Refer to Shock Module Replacement .

1 Nut

Notice: Do not allow the absorber rod to rotate during disassembly/reassembly. Use hand tools to keep the absorber rod from rotating. If air tools are used, and the rod is allowed to rotate, damage to the absorber may occur.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Tip

• Mark the alignment for the shock module assembly prior to disassembly. The marks will aid in alignment during installation.
• The use of J 45400 Strut Spring Compressor or equivalent, is required before removing the nut.
• The spring is compressed when the shock absorber moves freely.
  

Tighten 42 N·m (31 lb ft)

Tip
The striker cap must be removed to transfer the spacer from the old shock absorber to the new shock absorber. Use care not to scratch or damage the shock absorber shaft while removing or installing the striker cap.

Tip
Either the old spacer needs to be transferred from the old shock absorber or a new spacer must be used during installation.

10 Shock Absorber Assembly

Important: Ensure the alignment pins in the upper control arm bracket are orientated 90 degrees with the shock absorber lower mounting holes.

Attention:  For customers that intend to use their 2006 Pontiac Solstice equipped with option code Z0K for competitive driving, the following front and rear suspension specifications provide for optimum tire wear performance.

This bulletin is being revised to include additional information in the Suspension Preparation section. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 06-03-07-003 (Section 03 - Suspension).

Suspension Preparation
The Z0K package strut modules have a second spring seat installed as delivered from the factory for manufacturability and shipping reasons. Prior to aligning the vehicle, the supplementary upper spring seat on the struts must be removed. This supplemental spring seat may also be removed, at the customer's discretion, for non-competition purposes. Refer to Front and Rear Strut Disassembly.

Alignment Settings
The following alignment settings provide for even tire wear in competitive driving.

Please use the following alignment specifications for competitive driving only:

Camber Front -1.75 +/- .75 deg.
       Rear  -1.5  +/- .75 deg.
 
Caster Front  7.75 +/- .5 deg.
       Rear  -4.0  +/- .5 deg.
 
Toe    Front   .10 +/- .2 deg.
       Rear    .10 +/- .2 deg.

As many know, the Pontiac Solstice won its first-ever Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) National Showroom Stock B (SSB) title in October at Heartland Park in Topeka, Kansas. The winning Solstice, driven by Don Knowles, was one of five competing in the import-dominated, 28-car SSB class. Not only was the Solstice the national champion, but also the first-place winner for the Northeast Division Championship in Club Racing and earned two National Championships in Solo autocross competition.

All SCCA Club Racing Solstices and most Solo entries are equipped with the available Z0K Club Sport Package. This unique package is designed for the weekend racer interested in competing in various regional and national SCCA racing events. Z0K includes anti-lock brakes (ABS), limited-slip rear differential and Sport-tuned Suspension (FE3) and has an MSRP of $1,095. It may be ordered on a base-model Solstice (2MB67) only and is NOT available with any other options or packages including air conditioning or power locks/windows/mirrors. Dealers need only specify exterior color. Total MSRP for a Z0K-equipped Solstice is $23,210, including base MSRP of $21,515, $1,095 for Z0K Club Sport Package, and $600 for DFC. Z0K is not available with GXP (2MG67).

Given the growing popularity of the Solstice in these racing classes and its proven performance credibility, more enthusiasts may be interested in placing orders for Z0K-equipped Solstices in time for 2007 SCCA season events. To help quantify natural demand, Pontiac dealers are requested to input all bonafide sold Z0K orders (with customer information) in Order Workbench by Friday, December 15, 2006, whether they have available Solstice allocation or not. Consideration outside of normal allocation may be given to process these sold Z0K orders (stock orders not applicable), but Dealers should not guarantee orders will be produced beyond their own allocation. Additional information will follow.

This is for 2008 GXP Z0K, the system did not have any 2007 GXP Z0K info.
