    Thanks Phil

    Phil,

I enjoyed the course yesterday. I know it was short but you should definitely take several of the elements and use them later on a longer course. I didn't run the first transition/slalom correctly until the last run (of course then I screwed up the sweeper!). Even though I didn't get a good run (in 6 tries!) it was still a very fun course to run on. Take some of those elements and figure out a way to make it longer or have a turn around and run through most of it backward to get a 35-40 second course and you'll have a good set up for that lot. Nice job..

Yeah, it ended up being even shorter than I thought. I was guessing 30 seconds for your DSR, but was quite a bit shy. I guess there's just no way to run a normal start-here-end-there course on that lot and have some speed in it. That trick with the turn-around worked well, I think my next attempt at BU will have something like that only with a more open turn - the BCC pin was just too tight. It was fun the Miata, and I'm sure your car, but I bet it sucked in some of the street-tired stock cars.

     See you at the Pro!
