    the kitchen sink thread

Sometimes I have a small bit of news/gossip/humor/whatever that isn't worthy of a thread unto itself and doesn't fit in any existing threads. So feel free to use this thread as a dumping ground for all things SCCA or automotive in general.

Open up your latest copy of Sportscar magazine and check out the Rocky's Road section. You'll see some familiar names in the results from 2006. Thanks to Teddy for getting our region some airplay.

Yeah, Joe is soon going to find out that payback is hell ----- especially on tires.

(Hint to Joe C. ----make a deal with Danny Langston, at A Plus Tires in Canton, to buy take offs until your debt/s are paid.)

woah! neat! I've got tires on the car that have a treadwear rating of 460F/420R, so I am not worried. the only person who frightens me is Donny. he speaks so evilly when talking about his co-drive, but he's driving with me at nationals in Huntsville, so only 6 runs through the weekend isn't so bad. besides, I believe no one around here drives harder than I do, so no worries. I'm actually looking forward to Columbus so I can get acquainted with the limits of the car.

I was rumored to be riding in the car at the time of said occurrance, but can't say for sure about the timer problem as I had my eyes shut real tight.

Yep, thats the car.....but, James, I'd have to adopt you just to go with me to tweak it at every race.  That would cost more than the car.  All those "Irish Car Bombs".

I don't quite understand the ad.  Andy is going to sell the car after he kicks everyone's tail in one more time?

I guess the fact that you can buy the car that beat you is a nice consolation prize.

Skip whom do I Paypal to get you guys off my case for running over your weak and un-ruggedized times stuff?

On second reading of your post It couldn't have been me.  I was on Goodyears that day.  HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Re: attention Bozunkle:

how did this go from the kitchen sink thread to attention bozunkle?

anyway since this is the catch all thread I thought I would mention that I sold my MSP.  I only went to one of you guys events with it but several of you guys know of it from other stuff.  but it is gone to a new home in north carolina to a army PFC.

spent some money and got my wife a nice car so I have been looking for a less expensive autocrosser.  I am in the negotians for a 96 miata right now.  It is a CSP car built pretty much to the letter of the rules with quality stuff.  99 engine and tranny, JIC coilovers, racing beat bars, braces, and bolt ons,  hard dog bar, harness, etc.  I am debating on wether I should spring for his IRTB's and fredom ECU as well.  that alone would make the price of the car go up like another 1/3.

anyway I hope to get it and hope to have it at the june event.  see ya'll then.
