I wouldn't put too much weight on this year's PAX.

Not only was their rain, but the north course was modified (shortened) during the event on Tuesday due to breakup of the concrete.

    2005 Nationals RTP/PAX Results???

I put almost no weight in it. I just had some free time this afternoon and went ahead and did the figures.

Do you know what groups ran on the north course before they changed it?

SS ran it first heat Tuesday in the wet. Check out where they are on the PAX. Second heat on Tuesday was BSP, STU, and FPL. Course was mostly dry with a lake near the end, and breaking up badly.

    2005 Nationals RTP/PAX Results???

Hmm, I'm thinking DSP pax # is soft if I, who was near the bottom of DSP, still finished 455th. And my final time included a coned run from Tuesday and we ran in somewhat wet conditions on that day...

That, or DSP field was very strong this year and I'm better than I thought... :) (I believe the first part of that, not the latter).

Obviously, very little can be taken from the PAX with the weather, course break-up, classes running in the dark, etc.

Imagine finishing 51st (or even 52nd) in the PAX out of 1000+ competitors and not even getting acrylic in your own class. Wink [;)]
