i flipped the tires this morning, and took some pics of the 275's mounted compared to the 225's mounted
225's are on 9" wheels, 275's are on 10.5" wheels
My rendition of 225 verses 275
225 on 8" rims 275 on 10"
Please put me down guys for dibbs on a worn out pair or 2 for fitment as well, behind Dave.
Thanks for the updates!
Rodney,
Mind sharing what pressures you were running?

Rodney:38psi seems to be the winner thus far.
Maybe for a tire-eating FWD monster.
So far, my Miata seems happiest with a bit less pressure.
The Miata seemed to like 37f/36r but I still need a few more runs to be sure.
For your viewing pleasure
here are some photos of the fwd monster, coincidentally for sale.... :)
Since we're posting photos, here are a couple of the RWD beast from last weekend. We were running Hoosier 275/35-15's on 15 x 10 Diamond wheels. The blingy Bogarts are still in my garage, waiting for the next set of Hoosiers.

Transitional response is WAY better than with the slicks. The car seems to accelerate better as well.Lateral grip is down a little bit, but our setup isn't quite dialed in yet - so I'll reserve judgement until we have a few events to get the car sorted out.
I loved the grip. Still have some sorting to do also and possibly a change to driving style. I never felt my car was overpowered but like MNBiker says "power - adequate". These tires require substantially more power than the 225s. They are faster (initial observation) than the 225s but I don't have enough runs yet to tell you how much faster. With more power they would be a lot faster.
A couple of action shots for you
Left: 285/30/18 Kumho V710 ......... Right: 275/35/15 Hoosier

If that's Pat's tire on the right (I beleive it is...) I drove on it recently. S T I C K Y !
anyone have a worn out set yet?
Id really like one to mount and test fit. I dont think they will fit my car without sticking out to much.
how much tire do you guys have sticking outside of the car?
I guess I'll get in line. Does anyone have a couple of carcasses I could take off your hands for test fitting purposes?
email: hlcoley@babcock.com
thanks.

I have a set of 4 you can have for free, if you pick them up at my house in Minnesota. I'm not too keen on taking the effort to ship a set of dead tires, though.
