    GP spitfire questions

I'm building a 79 Spitfire for GP and have a couple of questions. I think I know the answers but would like some clarification from the experts. It had a 1500 engine stock and 1300s are on a different line so I can't put a 1300 in it, correct? Also number of carbs; the 1500 is listed as single Stromberg or single SU but in Europe they came stock with dual SUs. Can I put dual SUs on it? What about a single Weber? Thanks

    Correct.

The allowed carbs are one 1.5" Stromberg type SU or one 1.5" SU.  You could run dual carbs or a Weber, but would incur a 10% weight penalty.
