I'm no expert, but I can tell you that we ordered an 86 944 turbo, and the DEALERS order book was about 25 pages of order codes hat had absolutly nothing to do with the brochure. There were lots of "delete" codes available if you knew what they were. As previously said, Porsche is willing to do just about anything you want if you want to pay for it. I also know that we could have ordered our car without a sunroof that was standard, but there was no rebate of cost. I also recall being able to buy the car without a radio. I don't remember an A/C delete option, but I would not doubt it could be ordered that way if you had the proper code. I had a salesman in Tampa with a full sized 78 Ford, when he left our employ, I sent the car to a new salesman in Minnasota who informed me that the car was a Florida car which had no heater in it!
