In the process of considering a new car... (or new to me, and at least has some warranty left on it).
Any ideas on one that is a good driver's car, preferably a manual trans., RWD/AWD (personal pref), that could be purchased new enough to have a warranty, be under $30k, and have space inside to fit a wakeboard or bike, etc. (don't like bike racks)
- I currently have a WRX that meets all of these choices... trying to think if there's another type of car that can also do this.
- 370z/g37 don't have the trunk space and the g is too $
- 135i... a year old... sounds questionable about both price and fit
- 07 335i barely meets price.. has fold down seats... but is an extremely heavy car, isn't it?
- RX8??? how reliable are those rotaries anyhow? ;)
I really wish they made a version of of the mazdaspeed3 or mini in awd or rwd. I really like the gas mileage on that mini...
I know the mazdaspeed6 had an awd option a few years back...
Are there any american cars that fit the bill - and have good handling? The challenger looked interesting... but is extremely heavy like the 335i.
