1984 RX-7 GSL-SE
Autocross Car
I have decided to post this up for sale. I have been trying to figure out what to do for a long time.
I bought this car in April of 2001. It was completely stock and had 86,000 miles on it.
In the spring of 2003 the car was modified to become a dedicated autocrossing car. It was prepared to run in SCCA C Street Prepared class.
It was run in many of the Detroit Region and West Michigan events in 2003. It was also run in many events in 2004. It was run at several of the Cen-Div events and even was at a National Tour event.
In 2005, 2006 and 2007 is was only run at a few events each year. This is mostly due to my other time commitments.
If you look at old results from any of those years you will note that I had a co-driver at many events. He and I built the car together.

Countless hours have gone into building this car to what it is. We developed a mathematical model of the suspension setup and tuned the car to optimum autocross specs.
This car is not a Sunday afternoon, drive through the country car. It is also not a daily driver in its current state. The ride is harsh. The ride is loud. Sad to say it, but this is a race car.
I also have a pretty nice, very solid car trailer that could possibly be worked into the deal. It has a tire rack and tool boxes on the front and flip up ramps.
