Help shape the future of our region’s Club Race program.
We are forming a Club Race Steering committee and we need willing, enthusiastic volunteers who are interested helping the Club Race program.
We are seeking people interested in serving on this committee with the following
tasks in mind;
1) Seek and develop new "talent" for the Race Chair position.
2) Recruit and develop members interested in becoming Specialty Chiefs (i.e.:
Registrar, T&S, Start, Hospitality, etc.)
3) Assist in the planning and staging our race weekends.
4) Develop new venues for the race program while maintaining relationships with current venues.
5) Develop a "Master Plan" for our own facility.
Ideally this committee would consist of 7 members with one being a Region Board
member, and one Driver Representative. There is no experience necessary other
than the desire to be involved and to further develop our race program.
With that in mind, there will be an exploratory meeting on July 14, 2009 at Performance Driven at 6:30PM. There will pizza and soft drinks provided.
