Just a reminder that on-line registration for Event #4 closes on 6/17 at 11:59 pm.

On line registration is open for Event #4 of the KCRSCCA 2009 Solo Championship Series.
This event will be held at the Metropolitan Community College Precision Driving Center at 21221 E. 78 Highway, Independence Missouri 64057.  Onsite registration/check in opens around 8:00 am.  First car off at 10:00 am.  Events run rain or shine.  Come out and have a good time.

Event #4, first heat will get 5  runs, all others will get 4.

Maybe some of the good folks from KC will explain this?  If I am not running first heat, that's a sure fire way for me NOT TO DRIVE three hours to play. I understand if you are a local KC driver that occasionally you get 5 runs as a bonus in the run/work order.  Seems weird, though..

Also, at the time we were having trouble filling heat 1 in adequate numbers.  We decided to provide this incentive to try to remedy that and it seems to be working.

I'm the chair for this event and hope to have a fun, fast course.  We'd like to see some of our cross state friends so come on out.

For those that follow the Cards, they will be in KC this weekend so that may entice a few of you to the Queen City.

Since I always seem to get stuck in first heat when I go out of town maybe it would not be a bad deal.  Unfortunately, this weekend I get to make up to my wife all the other weekends she spends at airports and vacant parking lots!  Thanks Al, for the clarification.

I enjoyed the KC folks when I went to a Midiv and Tour event at Arrowhead last year.  STL people you should go for a visit and get some seat time and good barbecue.
