Hey guys, I was wondering if there is anything in that list of discounts one gets with a SCCA membership about a half off year membership for iRacing.com?  Like a Redemption code or instructions on how it works?  If one of you do not mind sharing the code/instructions or what ever it is, I would really appreciate it. I have not been able to race or anything since last July, my job went to the enconomy so I decided to go to school,nevertheless school is all I have been doing.. That and iRacing =)    My membership runs out there today and that half off year membership would be really nice

 *edit* I was reading more about this discount on the iRacing.com forums and I believe it is for new members only..   he Press release says "to new iRacing subscribers" , so joining would be pointless to existing iRacing customers.

It appears that it is non-transferable. From http://scca.com/newsarticle.aspx?hub=1&news=3633:

"As part of the partnership, SCCA members can take advantage of a special annual rate of $75.00 to new iRacing subscribers, a more than 50 percent discount on the regular $156.00 price of a full-year subscription. Members interested in taking advantage of the discount should e-mail their name and SCCA membership number as it appears on their membership card to scca@iracing.com."
