Team Pan Am Club Racer Richard Dziak will be traveling to Chandler, Arizona to race his Formula F1000 race car on April 4th...5th, 2009 at Firebird International Raceway. This is the last weekend of racing for the 2008-2009 season in the Arizona Region. If successful this weekend Richard will end the racing season as the Class FB points leader in his class. Unfortunately, he will not be able to defend his Regional Championship because of the number of events entered. We will keep fellow Pan Am club members updated with a report on Saturday or Sunday after the weekend.
His next scheduled event will be with Southwest Motorsports in Albuquerque, New Mexico racing at Sandia Motorplex over the May Day weekend. Richard is the current track record holder at Sandia Motorplex with his Class FB Formula F1000 race car. This will be his first event with the Southwest Motorsports Group. He recorded the track record in 2008 in the Western Sprints races with the Rio Grande Region of the SCCA.
