Anyone in interested in shooting for a Canadian National title? The 2008
Canadian Autoslalom (aka autocross) Championship is going to be held
August 1 - 3 at
Slemon Park on Prince Edward Island.
The CAC moves around from region to region each year, this year it is the east coast's turn and our annual Slalom @ Slemon event has the honours. In past years we have had many drivers from NER SCCA come up for a fun time and relaxing vacation.
This is a two-day event being held on 635000 sq ft of immaculate concrete. For the event we have the entire concrete apron available. I'm expecting courses in the 100 seconds range (in the past when we have used 1/3 of the apron and part of a taxiway our courses ran 80 - 110 seconds.
