I have a pair of 17"x7" rims that have Hoosier 245/40R17 on them, but I would like to put on V710's 275/40R17 or 245/40R17.

I also have a set of 17"x8" rims that also have Hoosier 245/40R17 on them, but I would like to put on V710's 295/40R17 or 275/40R17.

I am looking for someone who has been successful in mounting either size.

I've used 275/40/17 V710s without problem on 17x8s.

From the minimal research I have done 245's on the 7" and 275 on the 8" is normal.

I am still curious if anyone has successfully put the 275 on a 7" and the 295 on a 8"?   

I am trying to wait to buy rims for next year.
