    Leehmn's Atlanta Tour thoughts.....

Practice on Friday was fun----walked around with the mic, and goofed around.

Tried the hamburger at the welcome party.  That was a mistake, not to say anything bad to the cook, because I think it was the meat.  Luckily, I didn't have to go to the hospital.

Got away with numerous burps on the mic at the practice.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Everyone at the event was great.

Heyward Wagner, great job.  This course was super.  I liked it much better than the Double X course.  You worked your ass off and made it a super weekend for everyone.

    --------------------------

Truly exciting action in FJB ------------for real !

    -------------------------

I did get kinda nervous when Heyward and one of his guys picked me up and almost dropped me on my head.

    ------------------------------

And finally a big Lehman thank you to all the Atlanta region folks that helped make this event happen.

    Trying to get faster

    My own thoughts:

Great event, this is a beautiful facility, and a great location.

Event went great, though I would have preferred 10 less degrees in the outside air temps!

I had fun, met a lot of people the past two weeks that I hadn't before, I had a lot of fun at both events due to the people. I had fun driving too, but the people are why I drive 12 hours to get to an event.

Tonight I'm in Manchester Tennessee, I'll be driving over to Lynchburg TN in the morning to visit the Jack Daniel's Distillery for a tour and to purchase some toys.

Thanks again to the ATL region and the national staff!

Beware, the distillery is located in a dry county--- alas no samples at the end of the tour ... :(

I learned that in April 2006 when Natalie and I came to the Atlanta Tour last time. We didn't have time to look around much and didn't take a tour, so I'll be doing the tour tomorrow and trying to take in as much (scenery) as I can.
