Instructors for the Evo schools will be Ron Bauer and I with Tim Herron as a thrid instructor if needed. At present we are at 12 students in the Phase 1 and 9 in the Challenge with roughly 2 weeks left to register.

    Re: 2010 Evo School

Andy, is there a list of people who have signed up that we can see? I wanted to make sure I was listed!

Also, I'm very glad to see that you are hosting a Challenge school this year. I've come to the Evo schools you've hosted several times, but this will be special. I talked two others from Champaign to attend for both days. There just aren't many Evo schools in the midwest!

I think what Andy meant to say was "I look forward to seeing the course from behind the steering wheel of your GT3" Smile

10 students with 2 instructors or add a third instructor for 15 students.

I am thinking about bringing the Coupe to EVO school. How many runs do you typically get in Phase 1?  I need some seat time in the new car and need to dial in the suspension a little better. I obviously also need some instruction.

    Re: 2010 Evo School

Figure around 18-20 runs for you with the instructor taking 4-6 on top of that so somewhere around 25 for the car.

We have added a third instuctor. There are 3 spaces left in the Phase 1 and 5 left in the Challenge as of today.

I looked on the EVO website and could not find the rain out policy. What happens if it rains, it is spring after all?

We run in the rain, just like usual. You learn just as much, more for some students, as you do in the dry.

    Re: 2010 Evo School

Ok, I could see that. It is just that my car is not really developed far enough yet for competetion in the rain. Holes everywhere, no de-frost and no wipers make for a miserable ride if not dangerous. The aerodynamics don't allow for rain-x to work well and you tend to get really wet. I will think about it though. $275 is alot to throw away if I can't drive due to the weather.

I'd be more worried about snow than rain. Last year it was snowing on the way to event 1, and that was March 28th, a full 4 weeks later. I might still have my all-season tires on for the school, rather than the summer tires.
