So far I am still planning on making it!  No family emergencies or finals to worry about this time *crosses fingers*

    Count me in!

Do I need to confirm at CIR or did I do that here?

    Buffalo Grove location, right?

    Re: CIR v3 UPDATE

Looks like CIR doesn't start answering phones until 10AM - I'll post another message to find out what is the situation down there. Is there anyone who absolutely does not want to go? I do have 4WD so I'm still planning on going as long as CIR is open... Rob

    Re: CIR v3 UPDATE

I just talked with CIR & we should be good to go. The roads are OK - just usual winter slop that we've dealt with before.  Also, I'm on the hook for at least 16 entries, so we need to show up.  I'm thinking this will still be more fun than BHF or Gateway on a day like today - call me with any questions (262) 573-7375.

    So, How'd it go?

I spent my morning convincing the old man to buy more car parts (he loves it when I do that) and writing papers.

It's going to an interesting season...

    Re: CIR v3 UPDATE

We had only 16 people there so we all got drive 3Q of and drive the two 30laps races. that was a workout to do it all in a row.Tongue Tied

    Whooee! That was fun!

Well worth the extra $10 over a standard grand prix!

And then the extra workout of pushing my car out of the snow!  Thanks again, Mike and Ryan! (And the rest of you who just laughed at me.) ;)

Getting 30 extra laps was pretty nice. Of course if we would have stopped after the first 30 I would have been in 2nd instead of 5th but oh well. Who get's a 22 second penalty anyway?? Crying

    Re: CIR v3 UPDATE

    Oops.

My kart in the second final drove like a schoolbus with no power steering.....And a shudder.

-After I broke my steering wheel in the first final, getting run into a pole by a potentially lapped driver...

    I'm a bit sore today... ;-)
