Tire shaving in the Charlotte, NC area?

    Tire shaving in the Charlotte, NC area?

    Anyone know of a tire shaver in the Charlotte, NC area?  The closest places I've been able to find so far are both about 2 hours away.

    $12 per tire and it is a little closer than 2 hrs. I have not dealt with them personally, but I did confirm with them that they do shave tires.

     Look for places in Charlotte that recap (retread) tires. Most of them have tire shavers.

    Thanks for the reply!  That comes up at 1 hours 17 minutes away for me.  Not bad!

     

    Thanks for the tip about tire re-treading, I will make some calls based on that and post if I find anyone.
