2007 Civic Si Sedan, what wheels to use for G-Stock?

A friend of mine with a 2007 Honda Civic Si Sedan is looking for an extra set of wheels to mount R-compound tires and to stay in G-Stock.

What wheels (beside stock rims) match the diameter/offset? Anyone already solved this?

The Si uses 17x7, with I think 45mm offset.  There are literally hundreds of available wheels on the aftermarket.

I think Kosei makes some really light, inexpensive wheels, and the Enkei RPF1 is a good choice if you want a slightly more pimpin' wheel.

    goin' slow but havin' fun.

I ran 17x7 45-offset Enkei RP01's. They don't make them anymore and I sold them to someone here on SCCAForums when I got out of the class after last season.

Those were much cheaper than the alternate, which was the Kosei K1 TS. The "old" Enkei's weighed about a pound more per wheel, but were half the price!

Anything 17x7 in the 40-45 offset range would work. The car has such an uphill battle against the MINI's, spending gobs of cash on wheels is not worth it.

What size tires did you use w/o rubbing? Looks like hoosier has 225 and 245/40's.

225's fit no problem (I have a set).  I haven't tried 245's - but there are some guys who are more serious about it than I am, so I imagine that someone has tried 245's.

Both the 245/45-17 V710 and 245/40-17 A6 fit on both the wheels and fenders just fine.

There was a little bit of minor rubbing with the taller Kumho's on the inner fender well, but it was not noticeable when driving the car. There are marks/wear, so I know it was happening though.

They did not get worse after we switched to Hoosier, so I assume the shorter Hoosier did not rub at all.

I also never used spacers, so perhaps using 5mm spacers with the 45mm offset wheel would have prevented that minor rubbing.
