last weekend i was told my camera mount was a no-go. just wondering why a few guys with cameras on the outside of their cars were let to run, but mine wasn't acceptable. the cameras i saw were mostly stuck on with suction cups (like stickypods). the mount i have is basically a bolt that runs through the hood of the car, and fastens the camera very solidly to the hood...no movement whatsoever. so how come a camera that is bolted to the car and WILL not come off is not acceptable, but something held on with suction cups is?
