The Pan Am Club Racing Endowment has made awards to Stan Czacki and Jose Gerardo. The awards valued at $125.00 each are cash awards that has been granted for racing expenses that each will incur in the AZ SCCA National race event to be held March 8th, and 9th, 2008 at Firebird International Raceway. Both Pan Am club racers will race towards additional national points for the upcoming National SCCA Runoff's to be held in Topeka, Kansas later this year in the fall. Both racers represented the Pan Am in the National Runoff's in 2007. Both racers must qualify to race in the National SCCA Championships. Stan Czacki will compete in the SSB Class, driving his 1999 Chevrolet Camaro, while Jose Gerardo driving his 2000 Van Diemen F2000 Formula car, will compete in the FC Class open wheel Formula. Both Pan Am racers are highly experienced and have represented our Pan Am region in several events over many years. The Richard Dziak Pan Am Club Racing Endowment and the entire club racing team, wish these 2 members the best in the upcoming event. We should all be proud of the achievements that Pan Am racers have made over the past year. The club racing program in the Pan Am region is alive and growing, and has never been stronger.
These awards are the 4th & 5th awards to be made to Pan Am club racers to assist in deferring the costs of racing. The Endowment has been fully funded up to the year 2011. There will be many more cash awards to be made over the years to support our very own club racing racers and program.
