    Re: HS mini setup?

Mine never starved, no matter how low on fuel it was.

I would start the day with the fuel light on, which was about 2 gallons. It never starved. However, I did run it completely out of fuel once, and it still didn't starve, it just shut off. It shut off right at the finish lights at an event. I coasted most of the way back to paddock, but still had to be pushed a little. I put a gallon in it, and ran my last run, and still had enough to get me to a gas station.

Holly smokes Greg, you forgot what pressures you normally run AGAIN. Normal pressures on the the A6's for use were 41 front and 56-58 rear.

Dang, I should probably write those down. My memory is getting worse by the day...especially when it comes to numbers. Although I don't remember running that high of pressures in the rear with Hoosiers, Kumhos...yes.

You generally didn't run that high of pressures in the rear, I think you generally ran 50-52 in the rear, but the front should be around 41 psi.

I never had any fuel starvation issues, and ran the car with minimal fuel regularly.  Had a good friend who endurance raced a Cooper a few years back with a stock fuel tank.  He ran the car out of fuel once on track.  He said it never starved once or gave any warning, just ran perfectly till it ran completely out of fuel.  Both his car and mine are R53's, not 100% sure the R56 is the same.
