The FSP civics (5th gen) should be lighter but with less power. My ST prepped 5th gen civic Si weighed 2090lbs with 125whp. The motor obviously wasn't an SP build, but the 1.5 non-vtec car doesn't quite make the hp. Of course, that all changes for 2010 and now 135hp is probably a very realistic number for the Honda.

I think by Nationals I can easily achieve 2000lbs and 140whp (on a mustang dyno) with my 92 EG. That's my goal anyway, but budget will play the deciding factor.

Brian, are you talking in ST or FSP trim?

Ian, you are about right on the weight and power of the Focus.  Our main problem is our high CG.

I'm talking FSP. My numbers now are about identical to when Nate had your car fully prepped at Nationals in STS.

Depending if I can get the funds I need, I'm heading into FSP with my EG this year.

OK, that sounds right.  I was going to ask where you were finding another 100 lbs!
