Wow, was that fast. I have never taken sweepers that fast before. I loved the course design especially the hard, wide-open turns that let you pick your own line (mine was superwide).  Another great Indy event! Thanks for everyone that put in all the hard work to make it run so smoothly - especially Geoff, Raleigh, Marshall, and everyone that set up Saturday.

Mmmm...hot dogs were good! I didn't get as many as Ted, but I was close. Great and much appreciated addition.

I tried a new camera postion (mounted low, on the door) with an old bullet camera I had. Its not focused the way I intended and the video quality is not great, but I think it is a pretty cool video anyway.

Long day, too tired to stick around for the car's first win.

Congrats on your first Swifter win, Bob!

Jason you murdered us.  Certainly have us all scratching our heads looking around.  Nice driving.  Your car is GLUED around those corners. You can actually "see" where you are faster just by watching.

Thanks, Luke.Smile STU guys are a great bunch of competitors on the course and off. Kevin made a point to come over and respectfully shake my hand after the event - kind of felt like a rights of passage.... I am a man now. Stick out tongue

It was the perfect scenario for me. Great course, surface, and conditions for my car and I kept it within the limits (at least on a couple runs). The M3 feels pretty well set up right now and is such a joy to drive in those conditions - in the rain, not so much....

Looking forward to the next STU battle - I hope we get a lot of outside competition for the National Tour.

+1 Kudos to Jason for a great day for sure. I finally gave one up to the car owner. Stick out tongue

    Results are up: http://www.indyscca.org/SoloFiles/SoloResults/2009/2009SoloResults.htm

However....in my sleepiness I gave John the wrong file for the YTD class standings. I'll get the right one to him tonight.

    Re: Grissom event this weekend.

thanks to everyone that helped out my family.  my wife had a good time, and actually beat most of the ladies.  if i can get her to do this more than once every other year, maybe she can win me some NT or ProSolo tire money, hehe.

thanks also to all the coordinators for a great event for me to shake off some rust.  the hot dogs were awesome too.

jason, i think i'm gonna have to take back that offer to drive my car. you'll probly kick my butt.

    Re: Grissom event this weekend.

awesome event, had a great time and now have a nice striped multi tone skin color Smile.  This was really the first decent temp and dry event I have got to have the R out since I did all the work to bump me into SMS.  Felt good, still need to learn it more, I left a good amount of time out there I think.  Here's my in car of all runs from one camera.  I wanted to say hi to the corner 1 workers the first run so I honked and a bug hit the windshield in the slalom on the third run forcing me to use the wipers to clean it off Stick out tongueWink.  Great driving Jason, wonder how much tire I can fit (actually I know and its not much more than I haveSad)....  I think you have 2 of my tires at each corner.  anyways here's my runs : http://www.vimeo.com/5175102
