Even worse I am going to be Co-driving a good friends Miata. Hard to talk smack bout that as I have NEVER driven his car before.  I do know that it is reportedly fast with a good driver,  am I that driver?  Guess we will see when the smoke clears for the day.

I feel very lucky your car isn't running   My "hairdresser" car isn't really fast enough for a big bad MR2.

So I am sure some tweaking will need to be done. But it is a good start. Feel free to use it, tweak it, revise it, trash it, whatever. I will be there ~ 8am to help setup. So how long is it to there from Jackson (Brandon actually) and what is the best way?

So can I count course setup as a work assignment for Sunday so I can potentially pull out a little early? I have a 4+ hour drive and a 5:30 am flight out of Mobile on Monday.

You probably want to take Highway 25.  It should take you about 3 hours:

 It's purely cruise control highway with the exception of 1 all way stop coming through louisville. Definitely the route i'd recommend, and I make the drive from starkville to baton rouge ~15 times a year.
