I'll be honest this event was a typical ATL event. It was well run, fun and the competition was great.

The ATL region guys/girls have really got a good thing going on...THANK YOU for all that goes into making it happen!!!

Dissapointed however in the Port-a-Potty department.  Those things were never emptied over the weekend.  Went in on Sunday, almost passed out, and never made it out.

On the plus side I discovered the second highest mountain in Georgia, after Stone Mountain.

    Mount Crapola.

You know that mountain is not for climbing right?  As a member of TeamSolo, I do feel that we need to do something about this for next year. I can't count the number of times my wife asked if I would mention that to Heyward.

That's why I had horrible runs on Sunday, no pun intended, I tried to drop some weight right before my heat but checked 3 porta pots and all were out of paper.

Just use your hands like I did.

And then shake hands with all of your "friends".

I'm a little late here, but I'd also like to say awesome job to the whole Atlanta Region Team.  The courses were great fun, and the event had that big event party atmosphere, which is one of the reasons I'll make such a long trek.  The Friday night cookout was great; grab a brat and a drink, chat with far away friends, and take in a few course walks.  Paddock was a bit cramped, but we managed (although I'm glad my car wasn't in the trailer when someone closed the door and the unlatched ramps flopped down).

Great job guys, hope you can arrange for back-to-back weekends again next year.

I, too, loved the courses and the venue---I'll be back.  Gas be damned!  Thank you Atlanta!!

It was especially fun to be sitting right in the center, drinkin brew and watching heat four screw up the crossover.  I'm not throwing stones, I too screwed it up---both days.  :(   It was fun meeting new folks and inviting practically everyone who stumbled by to stop and have a beer.  BeerBig Smile
