Nothing on the hood and roof?  What are the fans in the stands going to have to read or look at as you roar pass the cheering crowd?

If you're on the fence about painting your vehicle...why not look into a vinyl wrap?  They do need some attention here and there over time (cracking, flaking etc.).

Car looks great in white and green.  Not sure the contrast between WRB and green would be great looking.

That's a great combo Scott. For green to work with dark blue it needs to be that bright acid green. There was a team in CART years ago that had a very good blue and chartruse scheme. I think it was when Servia first came up with sponsorship from Telephonica.

Design looks good, I like it.  Can't wait to see the final product.

I think James sold his old graphics that cheap Arshad.

    Sold?!

You can tell in that picture he is just waiting for those to hit the trash can so he can snag them.

The design of the hood and roof isn't locked in yet.  We are going to be adding something....

If there is a fence, I was never on it.  I can't stand vinyl wraps.  The car is getting painted.  Surprisingly, the cost differential isn't that significant.

If anyone would like to follow the build of the car, you can do so at this link.

Here's a recent photo.  You've heard of clear hoods?  The latest trend is clear engines!...

    Ack! Where is my Engine!

    A big, pink, Hello Kitty!

Or maybe the protruding front of the car would be a good place for a pharmaceutical sponsor, but the Viagra car is blue...

Now you're just copying me.  I'd post a picture, but my graphics hard drive just died.  But they get great gas mileage with the invisible engines, and those things weigh next to nothing.  Did you go with the 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 1% argon, .04% carbon dioxide - composite material also?

I'm surprised to see you're still running a top mount intercooler.  You gonna switch to a front mount with the updates?  And it's a little late now, but I bought some kind of decal stripper at O'Reilly that works wonders.  It's a thick spray on and really works well.  Barely any scraping, no paint problems, and takes the glue residue right off.  Can't remember the name right now, but it has something to do with airplanes.

We didn't have to take the sticker residue off because the car is getting sanded prior to paint.  FWIW, I use 3M adhesive remover to remove residue and it is fantastic. Regarding the IC, well... I guess you'll just have to wait and see.  Smile

Remove the residue. You're paint guy (and your pocket book) will appreciate it when he doesn't have to repaint it after finding out that he just ground adhesive into his base.

Oh crap.  Didn't think of that.  Well it was the painter that gave us the okay on leaving the residue.  It is a very reputable shop, so I don't think it is a mistake.  I'll check with them before paint time.  Thanks again Scott!
