    Tire Suppliers.

Well, I'm sure this question has been beaten to death, but the search feature isn't working so I figure I'd give it a shot.

Where is everyone getting their race tires from?

Maybe we could set-up a sort of list.

    Tirerack (www.tirerack.com):
    -Hoosiers
    -Kuhmos
    -Avon

    Appalachain Tire (www.racetire.com):
    -Hoosier

I'm really looking for a supplier of either 275 Toyo RA-1s or a set of shaved, 265 Ecsta v700 Kuhmos in 18."

Copy and add as you wish. A good supplier of Hankooks would be nice too. Thanks!

I'm fairly certain that you can also get Toyo's and Hankook's at Appalachain.

    Re: Tire Suppliers.

For Hoosiers I have gone to Hoosier Tom Reichel at http://www.midatlanticmotorsport.com/  574-243-5553

He has always gotten my Hoosiers quickly and made sure they were the newest they could be. The last time I ran a TOur on Hoosiers he got me tires that were 1 week old at delivery (so they were 2 weeks old when I ran them). THAT'S fresh. :-)

And he has an understanding for the needs of the Solo competitor.

R&S Racing www.rsracing.com is a hoosier dealer as well as an autox competitor. If you aren't buying Hoosiers from the TireRack link on SCCAForums.com then I'd recommend buying them from Ron at R&S.
