I'm very happy to hear that you're using the newest GPS chips that will give you not only position, but also velocity.

Just wanted to drop a line here and say that problems I had last year (beacons not lining up on 2 runs overlaid) that I commented on at the Nationals forum have been completely fixed in the newest version of the software. Thanks everyone at MaxQ!

Anything new? Been a long time since anyone posted. I am looking into this system. HPDE3 driver every other month or so. Which system would you recommend? There was a guy selling one here, but he never responded. Anyone else?

I just got their Veqtr system with the 2 video cameras and GPS. I haven't used it at an event yet but I did some simulation runs in a big, unused parking lot. It was very cool how I could walking the pretend course, mark each imaginary cone then have those cones showup on a graphic of the course, and have video of the whole thing. I can't wait to use it tomorrow :)

Just an FYI for folks, we have discovered that the Microphones in the web cameras can't handle the loud DB levels in a moving race car very well. An easy fix is to get a lapel microphone (any one will do) and plug that directly into the netbook microphone in, then tell windows to use that as the default Mic in Control panel Audio devices. This should give you much better audio, place the mic out of the wind and you should get distortioin free Audio Sound.

I'll post a link to some lapel mics when I get a sec.
