    Re: 2010 Evo School

The website says you need phase 1 & phase 2 to take the Challenge.  Is that right?

Also, do we use the same website to sign up for this?

Thanks in advance for the info.

    God Bless,

    Jeff

One of the instructors gets two runs in your car.  You run until you beat his time.  Then, he gets two more runs in your car to beat you.  And so one and so forth.

Does the instructor ride with you for instruction on the challenge part?

    Challenge School:

2 morning sessions - refresh Phase 1/2 processes. Make sure no bad habits. Instructor ride/drive whatever. All depends on what the student needs. Second morning session is the taping the windshield game.

2 afternoon sessions - remove tape on windshield, multiple runs on course with or w/o instructor as passenger. Run course in multiple directions with cones changing on course. NO coursewalks. Second afternoon session is competition with Instructor. They take 2 runs - you drive till you beat them. Then they drive till they beat you. If they can't beat you - then you get back in the car and keep getting seat time. And this goes on until time has run out.

    Re: 2010 Evo School

    Jeff,

Having the skills from a Phase 2 really helps with the Challenge school. Due to the unique situation here with us holding a Phase 1 and Challenge the same weekend, Mike and I are discussing the requirement for the Phase 2.

Most times the afternoon is spent just on the challenge phase where you and the instructor try to one up each other. My guess is that will be the way here since we will be short on daylight that early in the year. The instructor is not in the car  for the challenge rounds and you are not in the car for their runs.

    Re: 2010 Evo School

Do we have a cost for each event?  I did not see one on their website, and the registration is not open until Dec 15th.

Let us know about the Phase 2 requirement decision, because Alex and I will probably sign up for both if we can.

    God Bless,

    Jeff

In years past each school has been somewhere in the range of $250-300. I expect Andy will post more accurate numbers before registration opens.

Wow, that is a lot steeper than the Solo school.  Maybe we won’t be signing up for both… unless we can get a grant from Dr. Kyle (just ribbin ya Stick out tongue).

    God Bless,

    Jeff

    Re: 2010 Evo School

    Kyle,

I don't know who the instructors will be yet, most instructors haven't set their event schedule's yet. We are 3 months out, I expect to have that info in about a month maybe a bit later.

    Jeff,

Expect the entry fee to be $275 per day.

See if you can get Strano to come to STL as a Challenge instructor.  He can stay with you!  Big Smile
