    **SOLD** 2004 Corvette Z06 FS. 26k miles, $24k **SOLD**

    Hi guys,

I'm toying with the idea of selling my '04 Z06. I love it - I've never autocrossed a car as fun as this one - but I've got way too many house / car / bike projects going on right now and I want the cash to do some other things.

Stock other than a few things - C6 replica wheels in stock C5 Z06 sizes, black in color. Borla X-pipe (didn't touch stock cats or stock Ti catback) and a K&N panel filter. That's it. The pic is from a few months back and shows body side moldings - I removed those but I have them along with a few extra parts. It's also lowered on stock bolts. It has clearbra (Venture shield - the zero-orange-peel stuff) on the hood, fenders, bumper and side skirts.  The car does have a trailer hitch on it (bolt-on).  I towed a tire trailer a few times.  The seat recliners are brand new, so no "seat popping" like other Z06s.

I have some autocross specific items that could go with the car as well - three sets of the lightweight GM Speedline wheels.  One set with good HWets (08 build), one set with 30-run A6s (2009 build, thank you Hoosier contingency) and one set with pretty well used A6s (also 2009 build).  I also have a set of Koni 3013s and an Addco front bar.  If you want everything, I'm sure we can work out a price.  The car has an autocross alignment on it, it was set up just as Strano and Salerno suggested.  Extremely easy to drive if you have a disciplined right foot.

    Clean title in my name.

    Located in the DC area.

Sure, make me feel bad about it.

I won't be heartbroken if it doesn't sell and I "have" to drive it again next year.  Just looking to save some money for a couple years.

    But, but, you promised...

(my wife a ride @ nationals)

She'll be mad, she might even throw out her vette shirt...or she'll make ME buy the car.

Good luck on the sale of a sweet ride!

wow looks naked without the side molding!

If I could swing it I would definitely buy this car back, most fun I ever had autocrossing was in 2008 before I sold the car to John.

LOL. not trying to make you feel bad about it. Just saying you might regret it.

Its like dating a really hot chick and she has bad teeth or something. So you dump her and then cosmetic dentistry comes out and you are like "WTF!" , and by then you are old and fat and you realise your life is nothing but a lie...( because you realise it never should have mattered and you are a insensitive *** )

    ...You know....regrets....

I have to lay off the damn caffeine.

....something something....positive camber.....something something, front tires on the back.... something something.....

Dude, i broke my ankle playing with a beach ball. And once i qualified with a transmission in the trunk of my car. I was killing myself trying to find out why I was slower and the car just felt funny....

Chris, love you man, when you going to come back and play with us in autocrossing.

I'll be back in the spring with a new (potentially old) ride.

Want to sell me your 02 for cheap so I can take Carpenter's suggestions, build an ASP car, and keep John in a Vette instead of his wild ideas?

Great car to drive and a ton of fun.  I will miss it.

Great car.  But tough to control in the cold.  Last year I ran in a 38 degree day and all that Hp was hard to handle.

The piss has been coming out of me lately like a high pressure fire hose.

Anyone need their roof pressure cleaned ?

    Now back to John's car.......

Just having fun with you.  One of these days I'll figure out how to drive.    Don't sell it.  SS is going to open up next year.  I feel it.

    It's a great car and a steal at 26K.

It's still a great SS car.  I had my worst nationals ever but that wasn't the car's fault, it was mine.  And the rain's.  ;)
