    Mt Comfort/Converse airport

I know we lost the site sometime ago, but has anyone checked with them lately?

DriftIndy just had an event there, so the must be letting automotive events happen again.

That's very interesting.  I checked again for this season and the answer was clearly no.  I am very suprised they allowed a drift event (or any car event) there.   Can you point me to where you got that info?

They have it on their website.

I found out when I saw someone post pictures from the event on another message board.

edit: they are  having another event in Aug

    1) this site is way too slow and not user friendly.

    2) here is the drift Indy site links:

Looks like they even have a 2nd drift event in August at Mt Comfort.

Maybe a young girl is in charge of these decisions and she only likes the dangerous, hoodlum types.

I'm not sure where the Mt. Comfort site comes into play - I don't see that anywhere on their event schedule.   Converse and the Speedrome is all I saw.    Since Converse is near Grissom, I'd say we're ok w/Grissom for now.   Anyone been to Converse in the last 5 years to reporton the surface condition?

The remaining events on Drift-Indy's schedule are:

    July 25th @ Indianapolis Speedrome

    August 29th @ Converse Airport

    October TBA

Where is everyone finding anything that says they're doing anything at Mt. Comfort?

    Cheers,

Oh, I thought Dale was saying Converse was another name for Mt. Comfort. Then, I am confused too. I only see Converse.

Yeah, Converse is NOT Mount Comfort and last time I was there there were enormous potholes everywhere.

I'm an idiot.  I had it in my head that Mt Comfort and Converse were the same place.

Disregard this whole thing.  Tongue Tied

You mean your not supposed to do this?  And here I thought I was giving myself a legal competitive edge.

well if you read the rules, that clearly is a SMS allowed mod, but is no longer legal in STU.  Guess we'll have to reclass you and take away all your pointsStick out tongue
