    Solo Nationals PAX/RTP Index Results

Attached is a PDF of the Final Index Results for the Solo Nationals.  Be mindful that there was a wet course for Heats 1 & 2 on Tuesday.  This influenced times for FSP, DM, CSPL, STS2L, CS, FP, CPL, GPL, AML, DSP, SM2, HS, CM, ESL, SML and BML.

Over the next few days, I will try to post individual course results.  SCCA has made this kind of difficult when they combined all of the results.  Good for most folks, but not for me.  :-)

They still left the files up they just no longer link to them.  Here are all the links to the final files for each day for each course.

    Rick,

Have you had a chance to break these down to days and heats yet? Wondering how that will affect the results for Pax and how this may affect next years index numbers. Funny no one is commenting on this thread, it is usually the hot one after Nationals and this year nothing...?

F stock... nothing to say but Strano Wink

Other than that the times were so close that I wonder if the Pax will change to have the classes closer, or will they see that the surface and conditions there caused the close racing and not change Pax based on it?

I'm not Rick, but I did have a nice conversation with him last night about the PAX.  The 2008 numbers were essentially finished before he left for Nationals.  And he doesn't use the Nationals to compute the PAX.  There is too much variation in conditions at the Nats.

Re: Solo Nationals PAX/RTP Index Results

Wish I could have seen it. Locally, I do get to see Youngers in fantastic action.

Top PAX at nationals, even this year with all of the classes that ran in the dry, says something about the class especially if it's a new vehicle in the mix. I wonder how they will change too, as if no one is! Always the controversy... one is whether I should build that new HS car that I have been contemplating since this years Nationals. BTW I just watched one awesome '69 Porsche 912 slip on craigslist, Just a beaut and me ranting.

I was working the opposite courses during the same heat FS was running, but I DID get to see SOME of the runs. I wish I could've seen Sam's runs.

I was working the course when they were making runs too.  The new Mustanges are fast.  Also, on day one there was a cone out of place at a key point for a little while that allowed them to lay the law down and give several of them faster times than they should have been able to produce.....Tongue Tied  One of the other corner workers owned up to it a day later....
