And now for something completely different
My race (fan) group ventured to Heartland Park for the Runoffs in '06, expecting a fan-friendly experience similar to that always put forward by Mid-Ohio. We were sadly disappointed; the spectator amenities - for lack of a more descriptive word - sucked. So much so, in fact, that we did not go back in '07 nor will we in '08, despite the fact that the Runoffs offer what is arguably the best true racing in the country.
Road America is easily Mid-Ohio's equal in spectator-friendliness. We look forward to returning to the Runoffs in September 2009.
