In Car Video Links

I'm looking into some in car video solutions and using this blog post as a way to keep track of some links I need to follow up on :)

EDIT: 6/18/06 After some more research I've found another few options. This Device at Costco I believe will record video at 640x480 30FPS http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11123431&whse=BC&topnav=&browse straight to SD card even.

I've also aquired a reasonably cheap camera from Target today that records 640x480 at 30FPS onto SD. I'm going to be testing out the quality tomorrow and see how it looks! Hoping it will turn out alright.

Chris, you might consider the bullet cam approach that is improved upon at the URL above. While I was not happy for a long time with the poor contrast I was having, I have managed to radically improve it using a $1 hack. Isolating the camera from the fixed mount will make it last much longer. A solid-state device will have the same advantages but the compression typically makes them less desirable for post-editing.
