The day began with rain, which stuck around till sometime between 1-2pm if I remember correctly!

Wednesday Morning Ramblings

Still sitting here trying to post results. No luck so far today.

CP is done on the north course, that means heat 1 is running up there, somewhere in run 2a I believe.

South course is on Heat 2, 1b I believe for them.

Tuesday Photos and Comments

One word for Tuesday, chaos! I think things were handled the best way they could be handled, way too much going on outside of the realm of control for the event on Tuesday, all things considered I think things went well.

I was busy most of the day trying to post web results so I didn't get too many photos, but I was able to snap some of the first heat on the north course, as well as a few shots of the south course (heat 2 I think).

Monday Update

Spent today working in the SPS trailer, cutting Vinyl and such for all the custom orders coming in. Went to the Chief's meeting, and got the web posting information squared away.

I did get two course walks in, one on each course. I tried GPS'ng the south course but ran into some technical difficulties while doing so, so I was unable to get an accurate GPS map. I hope to have GPS of Schot'z runs tomorrow, we'll see if I can find time between posting the web results to get the data analyzer into Dave's car.

Got a few more decals on the Z, will finish them up tomorrow and post some more pics as well.

Evo seminar tonight was helpful, though I'm disappointed I didn't win one of the "Unlimited" schools giveaways!

Maps, Courses, Sunday, and Monday morning

Well, I finally have an internet connection in my hotel! Rock on.

It's Sunday night. Andy and I spent today on the Z. First, I washed it, put a coat of wax on in a few areas, where I had removed the decal from the hood a few weeks ago. I also had to wax where the new decal was going on. After that I got to work on the 2005 Nationals Decal scheme. I'm actually pretty darn happy with what I have so far! I'll finish it up tomorrow, but I should have a few pictures of the setup later tonight on the 2005 Nationals Photo Gallery.

The rest of the day, we spent over at the warmup event. Andy wasn't happy with the shock settings we played with yesterday, so he got on the wait list of the warmup today and got into the 6th heat. I think we've finally figure out what settings we'll run Thursday/Friday, and thanks for Robert Carpenter for riding with Andy and telling him how he's "supposed" to use the brakes in the car ;)

More tomorrow! Along with, hopefully, a GPS based course map of both courses.. We'll see if I can't get that rigged up properly.

EDIT: posted some photos in the gallery. I'll take more photos tomorrow, of other folks besides my car and dave schotz! ;)

Web access again

Well, I'm back at the Candlelight Inn (best western) in Topeka, and their advertised high speed internet is a crock. You can get wireless if you come up to the front lobby, not my idea of convenient at all. More to come tomorrow, I'm working on a little something that will hopefully bring all of you a little closer to the Solo Nationals.

Need web access!

So I'm sitting here at the SPS trailer, posting a blog post. I don't think SPS however is going to be able to follow through with the blog posting access for everyone at Nationals, possibly here and there, but we're not getting a strong enough signal to do much on the web.

I may however, try to setup a web cam taking still photos of nationals we'll see how that works.
